STP Operator

Responsibilities

1. The position is primarily responsible for reporting the daily status of wastewater projects by performing routine checks, cleaning, and doing daily protocols under Commissioning.

• Regular checking of the blower, control panel, STP, and the condition of wastewater and recording of routine checkups in the logbook.

• Regular cleaning of the settling tank and ladling out of the sludge.

• Responsible for cleaning  Lantec every week or as per the instruction of the Commissioning Process Engineer.

• Responsible for scrip oil and grease as per the advice of the Commissioning Process Engineer.

• Report problems and execute the approved/recommended solutions of the Commissioning Process Engineer until the wastewater project achieves stable condition, as verified by the result from a third-party laboratory.

• Submit required forms and reports.

• Submit weekly wastewater samples to Technotest Laboratory for routine analysis.

2. The position requires one to be familiar with client-specified/client-endorsed wastewater parameters as prescribed by DENR and LLDA regulations for wastewater discharge.

• Guide and assist the third party while getting wastewater samples.

3. Responsible for guiding and assisting employee trainees under Commissioning.

4. Perform other tasks as may be assigned or required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate

• Willing to stay at the project site

• At least one year of work experience as an STP operator
